What’s This?

What’s this? What’s this? There’s color everywhere? What’s this? There’s white things in the air. What’s this? I can’t believe my eyes, I must be dreaming. Wake up Joana this isn’t fair. What’s this?

Why yes Joana, I do believe that is snow that is covering your front lawn right now. :wtf: And yes, I just totally mutilated an awesome some from The Nightmare Before Christmas, but seriously, that’s what popped into my head when I glanced outside the kitchen window to see white things falling from the sky. As you probably guessed, I’m having trouble sleeping again. I was going to pop another over the counter sleeping pill for the third night in a row to knock myself out when I became aware of the abrupt change in weather. So much for this being the desert. Gah. First all the rain, now snow. Whatever happened to dry winters around here?

I really, really, really, hope that the electricity doesn’t go out again. It’s snowing (and it’s sticking too!) I don’t think I could stand the electricity going out on this night. Saturday was cold enough, imagine now?

Gonna go crank the heater up, burrow under a pile of blankets, and try to get some sleep now.

Snow is only pretty when you have a nice and toasty house to return to! haha. Over the holidays on one of the many super cold days in NM our propane tank almost got to empty so my dad decided to conserve gas by not turning on the furnace. It was a lot of fun having a bad cold and having to walk around in a freezing cold house. :( I feel for you. Hope your electricity stays on! Did you at least get to go play in the snow a little?
