GOOD LORD! I swear this post just made my blood boil and I was very happy when I got to the end and see that it did sort of turn in your favour (way to go $25 gc!) but really! It's a BANK! (well, sort of?) and it's supposed to take in money - especially the broken, old cruddy money and then send it back to the mint where it gets cleaned up and recirculated. At least that's what happens here (or is supposed to anyhow).

Morons. Sorry you have to keep those pennies. :(

So, when does my rank move up? I'm going to keep commenting until I'm no longer a jester.. ha!

Banks & credit unions are getting pathetic now. My best friend's checking account was overdrawn (we still dont' know how because the check she wrote was for at least $20 less than what was in the account and she doesn't have a debit card) and as soon as she brought the account back up to a positive balance, they closed her account. They didn't even tell her they closed it! Just closed it and tacked a note on her statement that came 2 months later! So she left and said forget it.

Here the banks are really stubborn with the coins - and I have noticed that their machines don't count correctly because I gave them $30 worth of dimes and it said I had $3 worth of pennies, not dimes. Grrrr. I think they need to go back to the old way of rolling your change at home.
