Wow, that’s two pretty huge things to be going wrong at once! I’m sorry about Pyro, your poor car As far as the work thing, maybe they will find another bank with a program to call about, but yea, for now that sound like no work means no working days, whether you’re laid off or not. So looks like it’s job search time. Though, while your car is out of commission, I suppose not having to drive somewhere isn’t that bad? A little bit of a bright side?

Ugh! I’m so sorry about the luck you’ve been having this year.

Call center work can be such a pain. If they lose the project you’re on, and they don’t have another project lined up, you can end up out of work completely, or laid off awaiting call back when they do get another project.

My advice would be to find out what they say on Wednesday or Thursday and go from there. If they say they’ve got another project in the works, stay with it, otherwise, I’d look for another job.
