Wiggling Out of a Ticket

I’ve always considered myself damn good when it comes to wiggling out of tickets and citations. I’ve got a few friends and relatives though that are total ticket-magnets however. The speed limit can be 35mph, they could be clocked at 37mph (which means that their spedometer might have even been showing them that they were going 35mph) and they’ll get a ticket. Worst yet, they go to court to fight it and the judge upholds the ticket.

And here I am getting tickets thrown out left and right. Crazy right? Not surprising I got a text message asking how to fight a speeding ticket. Thing is, I can’t say how to do it because, to be honest, luck has been a big factor for me. :D There is a website called TicketBust.com that shows you how to successfully fight tickets. While it is geared to California’s laws and regulations it does give you an idea of how you might be able to fight a ticket and what to look for in your own State and county’s laws.

In the case of my friend, I really have no advice to give. He got caught doing 65mph through a school zone when the lights were flashing to boot. I doubt anything could help him weasel out of that. Anybody got any advice for that? His court date is for this Friday by the way, so any advice would be nice.

Lol. I honestly have no idea how to get out of that one; I don’t even know if excuses will work! Good luck to your friend!

Honestly, I don’t think there is a way out of that one. Here, if they clock you doing a single mile over the speed limit in a school zone, you’re toast.

Well, I don’t have a license, so I don’t drive so obviously I’ve never gotten a ticket :P Which means, I have no idea how to weasel out of one :)

:ouch: Eek, good luck with that one. Unless he’s got a great reason for it, I don’t think they’re going to let him get away with it. (Hell, even with a good reason, I don’t think he’ll get away with it)
