Who Carries Cash?

Today was a very interesting one for me - I actually had cash in my wallet! :lol: It didn’t last long sadly, gas ate it right up. For a business owner, small or large, it just doesn’t make a lot of since not to accept credit cards. In this day and age everyone uses one, whether it’s an actual credit card or a check card. I’m glad that most business transactions that I carry out are done online as that allows merchants to pay via credit card through a third party site.

My mother on the other hand really should set herself up for credit card processing. She’s a bookkeeper and does payroll, so several of her clients have large monthly statements. It would really behoove her to go that extra mile.

I was visiting Merchant Advisors (onlinecheck.com) a few minutes ago trying to get a better understanding of merchant accounts and the procedure behind credit card processing. Their website makes it fairly easy to understand and they have a nifty form where you can fill out some basic information about your company to find out more. They also offering ACH processing, business loan, and invoice factoring services as well. Inf your looking for more information about these services why not visit them? They also advertise approvals within twenty-four hours, so you know you won’t be twiddling your thumbs for an eternity waiting for a reply either.

    I agree, I love that most places take credit cards. I always have some cash on me in case I need it. But most of the time I use my credit card. I am very annoyed when I’m told they don’t take MasterCard because then I have to use my debit card. I get scared that I’m not going to remember my pin number because I don’t use it very often haha.

    I haven’t had cash in my wallet for ages — not because I only use my credit card, but because I’m flat broke! :cute:

    I avoid using my credit card at all costs… but I agree that every establishment should accept credit cards, especially since they come through in a tough spot!

    FYI, when you use your debit card it’s actually safer for you to run it as credit instead of debit and to avoid entering your pin. A lot of people think it’s the other way around, but it’s not. :)

    Here, here! I hate it when places only accept one credit card or exclude certain ones. For example, I will never understand why Sam’s Club, at least here that is, only accepts Discover Card. :wtf:
