Well That Was a Shock!

I just woke up a little while ago, my internal clock has been completely shot to hell as you can see, and rather than try to fall back asleep for a few more hours I decided to just start getting ready for the day. Besides, at this time in the morning I don’t have to fight anyone for the bathroom.
The bad thing is, at some point in the night someone turned off the heat and so when I went into the rest and took a seat on the porcelain throne I actually squealed like a little girl because the seat was absolutely freezing. Is it too much to ask that someone buy a Warm Toilet Seat Cover? Probably.
I’m actually kind of surprised no one in the house has gotten around to getting one yet. The ones I saw at the Cute Gift Store (that name seems a little off putting though
) are pretty reasonably priced not to mention are stretchable, so no worries about them not fitting properly, easy to clean since they’re machine washable, and are labeled as “easy to install”. My only concern would be how hygienic it is to have a seat cover.

Doooode I hate regular toilet seats for the same reason. For our master bathroom we changed out the entire toilet seat (cover and all) for a softer one we got at wallyworld and it’s oh so nice to sit on at any time of day in any temperature. Look into that, seriously.
I agree with Julie with switching to a different seat. Actually, a plastic seat cover isn’t that bad either. It’s still cold, but it doesn’t get as cold as the porcelain would.
