Versionist: A Reggae Community

If you’re like me then you enjoy listening to a wide variety of music. Orchestral, rock, metal, pop, Japanese rock, swing, tejano – you name it I’ll probably listen to it at least once. Reggae is a genre that I am exceptionally picky about and I confess to not caring much for many of the “mainstream” artists that belong to this genre of music. That is probably why I am getting such a kick out of this message board I found called Versionist.

Versionist is the stomping grounds of reggae artists and fans from around the world and is a place where they can upload and share their original work as well as connect to others who share their passion. In order to browse the forums you need to register, however, registration is free. It would be great however if you could donate a little something to help with the overhead cost of the site, should you enjoy it and become a returning guest.

The website has a rather huge header that forces you to scroll down a page just to get down to the forums and to register, but aside from that I really had no qualms with the site. It’s fast loading, straight forward, and the members of the board were all pretty friendly and welcoming. Which is something that can’t be said for a whole lot of message boards. Visit today, listen to some great music, and connect with other music lovers. :)

I didn’t know they had forums for reggae music, but in this day and age, I’m sure there’s a forum for everything, right?
