Toys for the Laptop and Camera

Yup, that’s right, Joana got some new toys today. You should be very proud of me too, I went in to Best Buy and bought just what I needed, nothing else. I didn’t even wander into Hastings either. Although it was very tempting to, I must admit. I really wanted to go into Hastings, but I knew I wouldn’t walk out without buying at least one box set, which isn’t cheap, so I didn’t even go in. Not even to use the free wi-fi in the cafe. See, I’m a good girl.

Dynex microphoneI swear though, the sales people at Best Buy were seriously trying to sell me everything underneath the sun, or at least under their roof. I bought a Dynex desktop microphone for my laptop (pictured), and I guess for usage on the PC as well. For some odd reason, the sales rep thought I might be interested in a new laptop as well. He even tried to steer me towards the LCD monitors. Crazy! I wouldn’t have been surprised if he claimed to also be an insurance agent and started trying to sell me an individual health insurance policy. I mean come on, I went in for a microphone. Did he honestly think I needed a whole new laptop, graphics card, monitor, or any of the other stuff he just had to tell me about? Talk about pushy!

I also [finally!] purchased some rechargeable batteries and a charger for them, to use with my digital camera. Now, at long last, I won’t be running through batteries like crazy.

You reminded me to charge my rechargeable batteries for work tomorrow. They’re very useful!

Yay for a microphone. Does this mean you’re going to try to do lots of voice chats?

    Julie,

Hm, I guess I could do that too! honestly, the only thing I was thinking about when I bought it was for adding voice to my videos. Maybe I can start using Skype too…?
