You might remember a post I did back in January of this year where I mentioned that TopHostingCenter.com had a special going on called “Rudolf”. If not, let me refresh your memory. THC.com’s special allows webmasters to drop a one-time fee of $95 and in return receive hosting and a free domain for life.

When I first saw this deal, I have to admit, I was skeptical. And from what I heard, I wasn’t the only one. I mean really, lifetime hosting for only $95 and a free domain for life so long as you remain with THC? Naturally I thought the free hosting package must be less than desirable, but again I would be wrong. here’s what you could expect from the Rudolf plan:

10. Unlimited FTP accounts, webmail, and email aliases
11. Unlimited custom DNS records

The Rudolf special is only available to the first 1000 people who sign up and right now there are less than 500 slots available. THC supports domains with the following extensions: .biz, .com, .in. .info, .name, .net, and .us. I am surprised to see .org and .nu aren’t among the listed though as they are pretty popular. TopHostingCenter.com is aiming to be the company that offers the best hosting solution, and with offers like this it’s hard to imagine they would be considered otherwise.

Frankly, I am seriously tempted to transfer my blogs and websites to THC and take advantage of this offer. However, I haven’t seen any mention of whether or not they have easy account transfers set up. My current host has this feature, and when I moved to them I just had to provide them with my cpanel login information and they transferred it in a flash. Can THC do the same? I would really love to know.

Sure I just renewed my current hosting plan in October, but at that price, after one year with multiple domain names I would have already gotten my money’s worth since my current plan and host do not allow for the use of more than one domain name, although I do have more disk space (350gb) with my current host. The bandwidth allotment though is the same. After two years this deal would have been well-worth my money indeed.

I am seriously going to have to sit here and think about this offer, and I would recommend that other bloggers and webmasters give this offer deep consideration. You (and I) better hurry though, this offer is only good until the last slot is filled.
