Things Are Looking Up

I’ve got an interview set up for tomorrow! Oh hell yeah!
It’s not in my career field at all, all they require is a GED or high school diploma, but right now, I don’t care. They offer a 401k, offer a damn fine pay rate, and the job sounds like it might force this anti-social gal to be more lively. In short, I can make it work. So wish me luck tomorrow folks, I’ll probably need it.
The best thing is, it’s a direct result of calling back a previous employer who said they would “call me”. I guess it was some sort of test and I passed it?
Truthfully I was beginning to despair of anyone taking an interest with me. I was even eyeballing the ambiguous ads in the classifields that read something like Exp. w/ HDMI cable repair call XXX-XXX-XXXX”.
So yeah, it’s a bit discouraging that it’s not in my field of interest, but at this point I’m not picky. I’d rather earn a steady income with a place that will let me pay the bills, squirrel some away for a rainy day, and will give me future benefits then sit around barely making ends meet while waiting on the career of my dreams.
The commute will be a bit of pain, we’re looking at a good forty minute drive. If I’m hired I’ll be working from 6am to 7pm, which means I’ll be getting up around before 5am every morning. But hey, paid weekly, hourly pay in the double digits, and benefits – that’s not something to turn your nose up at.

Woohoo! Good luck with your interview!
I hope you get the job.
What exactly is the job? Yay for an interview though, and double yay for a direct result of checking up on your application. A 40 minute drive isn’t that bad, my commute is longer but I survive heh. Good luck lady Joanana!
