The Christmas Post

Despite this year being a tough one financially, Christmas turned out pretty good regardless.
It was great spending time with my family, not to mention, having a day off from work. Pitty I have to go work tomorrow.
Because I know people are curious, yes I did get quite a few wonderful gifts. There is one gift, however, that stands above them all:

Dallas Cowboy car mats! Tomorrow I’m vacuuming my car and placing them in there. Any gift for the car is always on my favorites list when it comes to gifts, but combine it with the Cowboys, and you have a winner, hands down.
My grandfather got me those; the man definately knows what to get his granddaughter. I got quite a few giftcards this year as well, in fact, I got more giftcards than I ever have before. Some of them are for places that I need to hurry up and use them at too, as the stores are closing their doors permanently. I’m hoping to maybe get an external hard drive by combining two of the gift cards. It would be nice to have one for backing stuff up onto and is definately something I might not otherwise buy on account of the cost versus absolute necessity factor.
Another great part of the day was seeing Isis and Denali’s reactions to their gifts. I was very pleased to see that Denali enjoyed her dress jacket that she received, I truly feared she would snub it like she does most outfits I try and get her. But Denali took to it and won’t let us take it off of her either. As promised, I took pictures of Denali and Isis dressed up in their finest:
The doggies got their Christmas presents today too. As you can see below, Shizuku and Big Mama got some nice juicy bones to chew on.
Shizuku jumped up and snatched his right away from me before running to the grass to chew on it. Big Mama on the other hand had much better manners. She sta their, wiggling her tail like crazy, and licking her chops as I lowered the prize to her.
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year, whether you celebrate the religious or sentimental aspect of it. And to all of those that celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and any other celebration I’m forgetting, I hope you had a good time with your families as well.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year!

Cute cats! I loled at the Dallas Cowboy mats, that’s adorable! It’s even better that your grandpa knew just what to get you!
Very nice car mats! That’s so sweet that your kitties love their little festive outfits.
