I've been a non meat eater for over 10 years now, but even when I did eat meat I tended to avoid things that I couldn't identify with the animal. This was following a programme I'd seen on reconstituted meat products, which tends to go into such things. Then as you say there is the fat/grease aspect. I suspect they probably have a lot of salt in there too. I think you'd have been better with the onion rings.

Not my cuppa tea. I always get a cough after eating greasy food like that. And the aftertaste stays with me for a long time. I'll stick to salads and my occasional junk food.
