Yes, that’s right, Denali and I are about to spend some quality time together. As you can see in the picture to your left, she doesn’t exactly agree with the timing of this “bonding”.

Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that she caught sight of the trimmers.

Ah yes, that might be it.

See, since it started getting warm back in February I went ahead and trimmed her fur a little early. Now that the temperature is really starting to rise, a good deal of her fur has grown back. Since it’s a rather pleasant day out for once I decided Denali will be getting her fur trimmed outside. Thankfully giving Denali’s fur a trim is nowhere near as dangerous as giving her a bath is.

And after all this, she gets some flea and tick treatment. That’s the part she’s going to hate, but I can’t see the logic in putting it on when I play on trimming her fur. So logic dictates that it has to go on afterward. She should be happy when this is over though. It’ll be cooler for her, no more nasty burs stuck in her fur, and no more “inspections” before she comes into the house after a long day playing outside.
