Pyro’s Home!

Automobile Files - - Posted on December, 23 at 9:39 am

Apparently yesterday my car was ready, but since I was already at work, I never even heard my mom’s messages let alone got to go pick up my car until today. I went with my mom early this morning and on her way to work she dropped me off at the auto shop so I could pick up Pyro. He was already sitting outside idling for me. :) It was so nice to drive my car once again. Don’t get me wrong, my grandfather’s truck is nice enough, it’s just not my car and always feels awkward. Like I don’t belong there and I’m intruding.

Ramon specializes in car repair, but not body work, so we told him not to worry about prettying it up and instead just fixing it. As a result, Pyro has the ugly boo-boo on the passenger side fender. I’ll get that fixed down later on down the road. I’m very glad my mom decided to take the parts list to Ramon and that he insisted on working on the car. Not only were the prices Crawford was going to charge me way too much (even with their “discount”) but it was incomplete. There were other things that were wrong that Crawford did not mention and parts that would have also been needed that Crawford skipped over. Parts which there was no way in hell that they didn’t know needed to be replaced.

Makes you wonder if my car would have really been “fixed” at Crawford or if it would have worked for a bit and then needed to be repaired. If you catch my drift.

So yeah! Pyro’s home! All new suspension, and it’s pretty apparent my alignment and what not is fixed too. Heh, Pyro is tighter and handling better than he was before the accident. Ramon is awesome.

If you’re in the Las Cruces area and need some car repair, give Garcia Auto Shop a shot. They’re awesome, reliable, and trustworthy guys who will get the job done right.

YAY! I’m glad your car is home safely and repaired and good as new to drive around again.

That’s awesome your car is back! Yay! He sounds like a pretty reliable person! My parents are always iffy about repair centers because they could have you coming back for a gazillion different problems.
