Protecting the Pricey Stuff

You know, I never claim to be a tech-guru, in fact, to be brutally honest, the fact that I can operate my stuff and do basic upkeep and maintenance impresses the heck out of me. One thing I do know however is that all of those gadgets that you and I love are pricey and cost a pretty penny (actually several). When I first got my Samsung SCH-a950 I was as proud as a peacock. Until I dropped it and it got scratched on one side. But check this out:

At first it kind of freaked me out not to hear any sound on the invisibleSHIELD video, I even had to check to make sure my speakers were working, but really it spoke for itself. I always see ads for this stuff, which is military grade by the way, but I don’t think I ever really believed it worked. I mean, your stuff usually comes with a protective layer on it and all that stuff does is come off, bubble up, and sometimes even leave sticky residue.

Seeing those weights on that sheet and knowing they had willingly stuck a pricey iphone under it all – I mean 1,000lbs?! – that was impressive.

Of course, most of my stuff is already scratched up now so it seems silly to protect it now. *shrugs*

What do you think, would you be willing to buy invisibleSHIELD to protect your gadgets?

wow, what a cool protection. I wonder if it will protect my ipod from my kids. They can be a lot more harmful than a bunch of weights.

I’ve actually considered purchasing invisibleSHIELD for my iPod. I’m very careful with it, but it seems even when moving it in and out of the case causes scratches on the back. Fortunately, the front is not scratched, but I’d really like to keep it that way. Beats paying hundreds of dollars for a new iPod!
