Picked Up a Hitchiker

I was cleaning the window screens earlier and decided to leave them outside to dry, since I dunked them in water and all. Well, when I went to bring them in a few minutes ago I seemed to have picked up a hitch hiker:
This little guy is a Solifugae also known as a “Sun Spider”. Despite their rather sinister look, they’re not dangerous, unless of course you’re, say, a tick. They feed on small arthropods, such as termites and darkling beetles. Of course, if you’re a pet owner, you’d be glad to have these guys around keeping the flea and tick population in check.
Still though, I gotta admit they’re creepy looking and look a lot like a scorpion at first glance.
Sadly this guy’s number was up. As soon as I spotted him on the screen I brought in I had every intention of taking him back outside. Denali had other plans in mind though, dinner plans to be precise.
