Ogling Watches and Fixing Eye Glasses

A few helpful souls suggested that instead of buying a whole new pair of frames to replace my old pair that went snappity-snap I should instead visit a jeweler and ask them if they can be soldered. While I was in one jewelery store waiting for the jeweler who was “on a break” to return I couldn’t help but to mosey on over to the watch display and ogle the watches there. Specifically the Seiko watches. I’m a Seiko fan myself, as is most of my family now that I think about it.
I can’t justify buying a new watch when I just received five new ones for this past Christmas, but that doesn’t mean I don’t look.
I tend to check out the sports watches myself. Why is it the guys have cool features, but the women’s watches don’t? The only way to get them is to get a sports watch or find a small men’s watch. Old rant of mine. Favorite Seiko sports watch? Has to be the Seiko SNL017 Men’s Sportura Kinetic Chronograph one. Love the black and orange strap. Of course, it’s a men’s watch, but it’s still awesome and the features it sports (automatic power generator, precise Quartz Kinetic movement, antic scratch/glare, water resistant, hour minute and second hands, plus more) makes me drool.
The salesmen was really persistent in trying to get me to buy a watch too. Poor guy, I waited for forty-five minutes, when the jeweler was supposed to return in five, and he tried to sell me on a watch that entire time.

Sucks you had to wait so long, but were you able to get the glasses fixed?
I personally prefer men’s watches myself. Then again I don’t even wear a watch. The feel of it on my arm drives me crazy, but when I scope out watches I always pick out the guy versions.
Whenever My eye glass get trouble I just change it.
