Now How to Spend that Giftcard?

Anime/Manga, Entertainment, Shopping - - Posted on May, 10 at 2:25 pm

I still haven’t used the $20 giftcard that I won from Charity’s giveaway yet. :( I just can’t decide what to spend it on! I opted to receive a giftcard from Amazon.com and I think tht made it worse. So many choices to choose from too! I was very tempted to go ahead and pre-order the 8th boxset of Naruto (uncut) at the price of $20.99 but I decided to hold off and purchase something else instead, although what remains a mystery still.

See, because of the popularity of Naruto I pretty much won’t buy the boxsets from entertainment stores or even Amazon.com. Why? Because, surprisingly enough, Wal-Mart carries the uncut boxsets as well. And let me say right here and now, yowza but they come out cheaper than even Amazon and Discount Anime DVDs. So yeah, even though the pre-order price is pretty cheap, $20.99, and it is technically cheaper than what the Wal-Mart price will be, when you add in the shipping and handling, it comes out a little bit more. So I’ll just wait for Wal-Mart to get it in.

Looking through the anime dvds got me thinking about video games though and making me wish I still had my PS2. Why oh why did I ever hawk it?

So yeah, I’m thinking I’m going to buy a boxset that is a little pricey normally. Right now I’m torn between buying season 1 of Cleopatra 2525, season one of Xena: Warrior Princess, or season 2 of La Femme Nikita. Or maybe I should just finish buying the Buffy boxsets? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Which one do you guys think I should get?

Oooh that is a tough choice, I would have to say Buffy, but thats only becasue I haven’t heard of the other ones.
You were right to wait for wall-mart to get the boxset in.

You’re right about buying it at walmart if that ends up being cheaper overall. Spend the money on a more expensive purchase, to make it less and therefore easier to click checkout.

Hmmm, decisions, decisions. Myself, if I were going for a box set, I’d either get Xena: Warrior Princess or finish the Buffy sets. :) I :luv: the Buffy sets. LOL Just my opinion. :)

I want the rest of the Naruto box sets! My boyfriend has the first one imported from Japan and a couple loose DVD’s full of episodes, but I’d love to complete the series for him. I have it all on my external hard drive, but it’s not the same.
