After yesterday I have even more respect for Chairty. It was our first day on the phones yesterday and, imagine this, I didn’t get a single sale. Not a one. I was on the phones from, roughly, 2pm to 8pm, and not a single nibble. Thankfully the pay isn’t commission only, but dang is it discouraging to get no sales.

I got some women who were very upset that I was calling their husbands, one of which simply refused to believe that I was calling on behalf of a company Methinks either he’s already slinking around or she’s just an overbearing woman. In which case, if the guy cheats, well I wouldn’t blame him.

I got one call that was really funny though. I called, they answered got the person I wanted to speak to, said I was calling on behalf of Wells Fargo and BAM! I’m not interested in your home owner insurance, life insurance, personal assistant, or whatever else you’re trying to sell me. I just got home, I want to sleep, leave me the f*ck alone!

I suspect Wells Fargo solicits their customers quite often. I wouldn’t know, thankfully, as I’m not a Wells Fargo customer and I really don’t like them either.

I hope I do better today, no sales bites. Especially when a bunch of the rookies got one sale at least. One guy managed to get two even.
