New Sunscreen to Try?

There’s a new sunscreen out there on the market right now, and to manipulate a popular cereal slogan, it is definately “mother tested” and “mother approved”1 The new sunscreen in question is called Screen, Inc. and it was developed by two moms to boot! Their slogan is one many should definately take heed to, especially here in sunny New Mexico – Screen: Make It Your Routine.

Now the reason I found this particular new line to be so interesting is the fact that it’s geared to providing much needed protection to parts of the body that tend to get neglected and or willfully ignored. I’m talking about your neck, your face, you ears, and even your lips. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen fools slather on the sunblock, only to forget their neck and ears. Or even those who willfully choose not to wear it on their face because of the greasiness. I’ll be the first to admit, for all of my sun-paranoia, I absolutely loathe putting sunblock on my face because it is so oily not to mention thick and cloying. I can literally feel my pores choking underneath it all. According to their homepage, that isn’t the case with this line. And as you can see from the image I selected to your left, their sunscreens target a fairly large demographic.

And hey, it can’t be all hype right? I mean they do boast a seal of recommendation from the Skin Cancer Foundation, which as I understand, is not easy to acquire. I’m definately checking this line out. Gotta keep my skin it’s natural light color! I hate freckles (on me).

  1. Yes I totally ripped the Kix slogan of Kid Tested, Mother Approved. []

I like that slogan! With me being so fair skinned, OK pale, with skin cancer in my family and with me living in Florida you can bet I’ll be checking out this sunscreen. I lather the stuff on and hate it on my face. So this will be a nice change for me.

Well they do make oil free sunscreen, that costs 30 bucks for a regular tube though bleh, for those reasons. But you’re right, too many people forget important areas and really regret that later.

Thanks for the review, finding the right sunscreen is so important. If people don’t like it, they won’t use it.
