Late Night Munchies

Rondele spreadable cheeseI got the munchies a little while ago and the only thing that appeased my hunger was Rondele’s sharp cheddar Pub Cheese. :D I absolutely love this cheese, particularly I like to spread it on Ritz crackers on its own or top it with a piece of celery or summer sausage (sometimes both). Absolutely divine. Needless to say, whenever there is a good game (football) on the television I always have to make sure I have a container in the refrigerator because it just makes a great snack.

And yes, this is the cheese spread I’m always talking about whenever I mention the large spreads we make for games and the Super Bowl. It’s also great to make sandwiches with. Just grab a roll or some slices of bread, spread on both sides, and add your favorite meats and veggies. You don’t need any other toppings or anything else. :)

I feel a bit guilty though. I’m not the only one in the house who loves it, and I kind of made a pig out of myself. There was about half left in the container, and as you can see, I demolished it in no time flat. Very bad Joana. I couldn’t help it though, it’s so yummy!

I’ve tried the Garlic Herbs pub cheese, which is good but not one of their best products, but I’ve been dying to try their Cheddar Jalapeno, which none of the stores around here ever seem to carry. :( Has any one ever tired it, what did you think of it? Rondele makes other great products too, their Bagel Temptations awe an awesome way to dress up your bagels in the morning. I particularly like their Strawberry and Garlic & Herb flavors.

Have you ever had one of their cheese spreads, or any of their products for that matter? What did you think?

You have good tastes when it comes to cheese! However, I prefer the Garlic Herbs pub cheese! It’s the best in my opinion!
Your idea with the crackers and the sausage sounds tasty, I’ve only been using it with a simple loaf of bread! I think I’ll try your method too!

    (usually, I don’t read any commenter’s
policy or whatsoever. but reading yours
    totally cracked me up. haha!)

well, I love cheese but was never into
cheese spread even though my whole
family loves them and can eat them plain
with bread. I just prefer the good old
    cheese on it’s own (:

    Timmy,

The Garlic Herb one is good on sandwiches, no argument there! Indeed, I love eating it on crackers, whether plain or topped with deli meats or veggies. – Absolutely divine.

    Nadine,

Shush! You’re not supposed to admit that you don’t read the comment policies, that’s like confessing that you don’t read the rules and just jump on in. ;) Although I’m glad you thought they were amusing.

I’ve been in love with cheese spreads since I first got into band in middle school. There was a fundraiser we did that had cheese spreads, sausages, cheese rolls, tined cookies, and so forth for sale in a brochure. I ordered a spread and cheese ball (because hey, I love cheese) and nearly died and went to heaven. That was the beginning of hunting down good cheese spreads. ^_^

I’ve never had any of that cheese spread but from the sound of it I’d like it quite a bit. Good job making me hungry hehe.
