Kubo Is Coming…

Did you just let out a “OMFG!” when you read this blog post’s title and/or saw the image to your left? If you did, you might be happy to know that was my reaction when I saw that banner on the ShonenJump homepage. 
For those who don’t know, Kubo (Kubo Tite) is the manga-ka (creator) of Bleach. Ah, now it all makes sense right?
Needless to say, hearing that the creator of one of my all time favorite series is coming to the US just made my day. The chance to meet the man who has built such a complex and deep series that cannot be simply summed up as a “shonen series” is the dream of a lifetime. The Anime News Network is reporting that a similar banner can also be found on the Viz website as well and that it is encouraging people to sign up for the newsletter. ANN also remarked on how Viz has, in the past, hosted other manga-ka at the Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
Will Kubo be seen there or will he be making an appearance at one of the upcoming anime cons instead? Ooh! I’m dying of suspense over here! I can’t wait until more information becomes available. In the mean time I’m going to go hunt down and read chapter -102 of the manga. I’ve glimpsed some spoilers and it looks like this week we’re going to see, at least, how Kensei becomes a Vizard, and probably Mashiro as well.

Hmm the only anime i like is sailor moon … anything else if I watch it, i’d get addicted and I dont want to.. lol
