It’s Not Running Away – Evasive Maneuvers!

With the impending visit of certain folks I have been seriously looking into taking a little road trip. I figure hey, I’ve got a camera and I’ve got a laptop, all I need is a motel/hotel room with wif-fi. Or better yet, just a cheap motel room and stop at Village Inn or I-Hop for breakfast (these restaurants have free wi-fi for customers ;) ). I can take in the sights and then share them with my readers, thus providing a “virtual road trip” for those who visit. Neat right? That would definately be easier on my wallet than looking for flights to Cape Town, South Africa. On my budget, any trip outside the US not to Mexico is pretty much out of the question.

Although truthfully, if I could swing it I would head there. I would catch some waves on the beaches and then head down to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some sight seeing (the clock tower there is so awesome looking!) and shopping. Maybe even take some pictures of the Cape Town city hall – the architecture is beautiful. :cute:

Now if only they would give us the specific days they’ll be here, then I can make some plans to run away err “evasive maneuvers”. :lmao:

Seriously though, would any of you [my readers] be interested in some “road trip” posts? I could also check out some local sights, share some photos (maybe videos) and blog about the sights. I will probably be doing some road tripping when they come to visit, but if you all really want some road trip posts I can be sure to stop more instead just rushing to a destination.

:bb: I’m definitely interested in seeing some road trip pics. I always like getting a window into something new.

Trip pics would be awesome! :) Wow, Village Inn & IHOP have free WiFi for customers? That’s cool. Village Inn closed down here, and our IHOP doesn’t offer the WiFi. Hmmm, maybe I should move somewhere else! LOL
