Having Fun Grilling Chicken

So I didn’t feel like driving all the way to El Paso just to get some yummy grilled chicken from El Pollo Loco, instead I decided to have some fun grilling chicken at home and playing around with my digital camera, windows movie maker, and food in general. Who says you can’t play with your food?
So here is my attempt to show off my grilling skills and make a video at the same time.
(Sorry about the wait, after nearly an hour it didn’t show up so I re-uploaded. Hopefully it’s working for everyone now.)
Lemon and Black Pepper chicken, it’s really simple to cook and tastes great too. Just marinate the chicken in lemon juice (bottle or fresh works fine), place on grill and sprinkle on the pepper. Voila! It’s a bit windy outside, not that you could really see anything but the chicken mind you, so no large flames jumping up for this girl. Couldn’t even get a roaring flame going with all the wind. I had to switch to the other grill. Living in New Mexico during the windy months is not fun.
Now, who is hungry after seeing that delicious food p0rn?
Right now there is a very nice little contest at WherestheFlameGrill.com. Submit a funny or entertaining video (like my attempt above) that shows why flame grilling chicken is the best method and you will be entered for a chance to win $1,500 dollars cash, a portable Webber Grill, and (but of course) a gift card from El Pollo Loco for $100 dollars. Neat, right? The contest is only open to U.S. citizens 18 years and over. Be sure to read the official rules before entering.

My stomach is now oddly aroused. Do you do catering? Because I’d love to have some of that beautiful white flesh in my home. ^_^
Seriously, though, it looked delicious.
Wait…you’re doing ads for Pollo Loco now? I like their mac and cheese although it depends what location you go to. The one here sucks. Their chicken is dry and so is their mac and cheese. Jeezus, how do you screw THAT up?
Incidentally…why haven’t you written back to email yet?
Amber,
Moira,
Ah, would ya believe I forgot? I saw the email, meant to respond, promised myself I would respond “tomorrow” and then well…tomorrow never comes.
Will go take a look at it right now!
I know what you mean, I at the El Pollo Loco in Albuquerque and it was so-so, but the one in El Paso is awesome. Go figure, right?
I was wondering who was going to try and apply for those nice paying video ads!
Well, that looks delicious and as mentioned on the Vertigo thread, the music works well and I love that wink at the end. Lol.
Albuquerque? What are you doing in Albuquerque girl?
