Having a Blast with my Cell Phone Booster

I was very fortunate enough to be gifted with a Wilson Electronics mobile cell phone booster from PowerfulSignal.com not long ago, and I must say, I am completely and utterly in love with the product. It has definately performed well beyond my expectations.
Now the kit I received came with the SignalBoost amplifier, 6″ extension cable, 12 V DC plug-in power supply (for your vehicle), a universal connector, 12-inch magnet-mount antenna, ac/dc plug-in power supply (this is for your home or office), a window bracket, and a metal ground plane all packaged nicely in the very handy soft carrying case.
The SignalBoost amplifier can be used to boost the signal of your cell phone or your cellular data card, and can be used in your home and office (or any building really) and in your vehicle. I was rather surprised at the effectiveness of the SignalBoost amplifier. Our house is pretty much an annoying dead zone. There are certain spots in the house where you can stand and get a signal, but if you so much as move an inch from them you’ll be screaming “Can you hear me now?!” for the rest of the call. Assuming the caller doesn’t just give up and hang up on you first of course.
When I’m in my room working on my computer I tend to keep my cell phone next to me, and when it rings, I have to grab it and run to a spot where I can get a signal. There is one spot in my room, that gets a decent signal. You have to be pressed up against the window just right - it’s easier, and more comfortable, to run to the kitchen and stand by the sink (another signal-friendly zone). That’s not the case anymore however. When I’m not out and about I have the antenna mounted on window, the amplifier plugged in, and the universal connector attached to my phone. Now I can continue to sit at my desk and yammer away on the phone if I should so please. I can walk around in my room on the phone and even lay down on my bed! That is a radical change from throwing myself against a window or running through the house, hoping the caller doesn’t hang up first. Because the antenna has a powerful magnet on its base, I can just attach him to the window without using the bracket. Huh? Yeah, this is the first time I am glad to have a humongous window in my bedroom. The frames that wrap around the individual panels are metal - just stick it and I’m ready to go!
Naturally, when I’m out and about, I keep the amplifier in my car. If I’m going anywhere further than the post office or the truck stop, that baby is on the floorboard of my car. Why? Because, unfortunately, there are a lot of dead zones and low signal zones between here and the nearest city, Las Cruces. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’m on the phone and driving in [or back] from town and my call drops or the person I’m talking to can’t hear me anymore, even though I can hear them completely. That said, even though I have a cell phone, I’ve always been afraid of what might happen and just how long I’ll be sitting on the side of the road should something happen. That’s not such a big worry for me anymore. I’ve had this guy in my car now for about two weeks and I swear I have the best reception ever. Dead zones do not exist anymore.
See, I even shot a video about it to show you just how well it performs:
I know some people might think it’s a bit on the pricey side, but I assure it that it is well worth every cent, and then some. As you could see in the video, we’ve got nice stretches of nothingness out here. Where I was, and with the signal strength I had in the video, I would never have been able to reach anymore. If the even call connected I would have been there screaming at the phone hoping that the person would stop saying “Hello? Hello? I can’t hear you!”
I’m planning on getting another one of these guys for my mother for her to keep in her truck for her birthday, and if you routinely have a bad signal, dead zones, or are even planning a road trip, I strongly recommend you pick up one of these from the guys at PowerfulSignal.com. The guys there are awesome and the product is top notch.
I just have to say, thank you very much for letting test out and own this product. It’s easy to use, comes ready to use straight out of the box, and delivers more than expected.

Where do you live that you need a cell phone booster?
skolor,
Out in the lovely boonies of New Mexico. =/ For the most part I’m cool, but in areas where I would really need to be able to reach someone that’s naturally where my cell phone gets a very weak or no signal at all.
Well I’m glad you got it and it works so well for you. You certainly do need to be able to call people heh. It’s no fun being signal-less.
