I might be a cat person, but that does not make me immune to the charms of adorable little puppies. Happiness is Pets is a pet store in Illinois with five different locations that boasts something I’ve never seen around here – playrooms. The playrooms are for potential dog owners and the puppy of their choice to get acquainted and make sure that the match is a good one. I can’t help but to wonder why more places don’t do that?

On top of that, Happiness is Pets boasts a pretty hefty list of high points. These include: easy payment terms, you can pay for your puppy over 3, 6, or 12 months with 0% interest; in business since 2000; more than 50% of their customers are referrals or repeat buyers; best health warranty in the industry; free veterinary exam for the first 14 days after you own your puppy;
puppies have Avid ID microchips implanted; and even free obedience lessons. All of which sound great, especially in combination. Hard to say one’s puppy is too much trouble if he’s obedient. Hopefully that cuts down on negligent owners getting in over their heads.
