Friday Morning At Mountain View Hospital

We’re here at the hospital right now. My grandfather has surgery scheduled for 7:30am. Right now we’re just sitting in the waiting room for surgery patients, waiting to be admitted. Needless to say, I’m taking advantage of the hospital’s free Wi-Fi connection in the waiting room to blog this right now. Still too cheap to splurge for a satellite card for the laptop.
Please wish my grandfather well, and if you pray, keep him in your prayers.
ETA: Still sitting here in the waiting room. We got here early since the only way to actually get in to see a doctor, no matter what the reason, you have to arrive early to get in around your scheduled time. Looks like that’s going to be the case here too. Frankly sitting in this waiting room is making me more anxious than anything else. I was fine until I had to sit here for forty minutes. Now I’m nervous and worried. I don’t like feeling this way, especially when there’s nothing I can to do about it.

Sitting and waiting is certainly not fun. How interesting that you brought your laptop. At least the hospital has wifi to keep you busy.
