Easy and Delicious Bar BQ Brisket

It’s no longer just a habit, it’s becoming a tradition in our house. Anytime someone goes to Sam’s Club they pick up a container of Sadler’s Smokehouse Pit Smoked Barbecue Brisket. It started a while back when my mother and I went to Sam’s to do some laptop pricing. By sheer luck we were there when they were giving out a bunch of food samples. In the frozen food section they were serving up some of the barbecue brisket on buns. I took a sample fully expecting the meat to have an odd “fast food” taste to it. I mean honestly, what can beat home cooked brisket?

As you can imagine I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the meat tasted as though it had just come straight off the grill and it positively melted in my mouth. We had to buy a container of it right then and there.

Ironically, my grandfather went to Sam’s yesterday and he decided to pick up some. Yes, my grandfather went grocery shopping, and although he’s trying to deny it, he went shopping deliberately for another container since there was no more in the freezer. :cute:

You can imagine what I just fixed myself for a snack, can’t you? Sadler’s brisket is very easy to cook with and you can whip up a delicious meal or a yummy snack in a flash as well. Just allow the container to thaw, scoop out the desired amount of meat you want, and heat in a microwave safe bowl in intervals of three minutes (depending on how much your cooking) and then place rest back in the freezer or refrigerator.

I decided to get a little creative with my snack, as you can see. I took a medium-sized croissant and cut it open on one side and stuffed it with the brisket once it was cooked. The word “yummy” does not even begin to describe how great it tasted. I swear, if I didn’t scoop the meat out of a plastic container myself I wouldn’t have realized it wasn’t “home made”.

That looks quite yummy to eat! Why is it you always make the good looking food and I get stuck with… sandwiches and Rice-a-roni?

    Maria,

Um, sorry? :cute: I don’t mean to tease my readers…well okay, maybe a little bit. :P Ah but seriously, you should go get some of this. You can stick in the freezer and have a nice, warm, yummy meal that is quick and easy and doesn’t taste like your a-typical freezer food. That’s why we like it so much.

That, and I am a positive carnivore and just LOVE meat, beef in particular.
