Dressing Up for Halloween?

Ah, I miss being in school! I don’t get to dress up for Halloween and attend my classes in costume this year.
It was always fun to see what I could come up with that would stand out from the other costume wearing students on Halloween. Sometimes I would even cosplay as a favorite anime character. it was always entertaining to see who would recognize the character, as I would never go as a character from a popular series. Sometimes the people who would recognize my costume would surprise me. For example, one year I dressed up as Priss Asagiri from Bubblegum Crisis, specifically as her stage persona. I had an older woman in her 50′s come up to me and ask if I was dressed as Priss. She was so nervous about asking, like she didn’t dare admit she liked anime. That was definately a cool experiance.
This year I’ll probably just dress up like something out of Night of the Living Dead for the trick or treaters. Crisp black linen slacks, white button up blouse, black dinner jacket, and then rub in some dirt in some places. Followed with some makeup to give me a pallor and make my skin look like dried skin on bones, plus the sunken eyes look. Voila! Instant Living Dead Girl!
Did you know that, if you act quickly, you can find some Halloween Costume Stores are offering free shipping and handling on all orders over sixty dollars ($60) until October 10th, 2008. If you’re looking for a quality costume it would definately behoove you to skedaddle on over there as soon as possible. They have a fairly quick and easy returns too, just in case you’re not completely satisfied.

I really want to get a Stormtrooper costume this year. But not one of those cheap ones, one of the 900 dollar ones. I imagine I will never get it though seeing as it is way expensive.
I’m going to be a witch as usual. I got the Fantasy Makers Ice Princess make up kit though, not the witch kit. LOL I wanted the blue lipstick.
I love Halloween. I always have. And strangely enough, I’m almost always a witch. LOL
