Wow, I thought ours were bad – they mew and ask for food in the kitchen, and try to get in the dishwasher sometimes, but they’ve never got close enough to anything hot to get burned. So far, anyway. I’m glad to see that Denali looks quite happy despite her unpleasant experience.

Oh no, poor kitty! You would have thought after a few times, she would get the hint that jumping on the stove isn’t a good idea! By the way, I love her name, it’s very beautiful.

Aww, poor Denali! I hope she stops stops soon, before all of her fur gets burnt off!.
I thought she would learn not to do it seeing as she’s been hurt so many times. A couple of months ago my cat was doing something similar, he was just constantly jumping on the kitchen units – which isn’t really hygienic. He’s stopped now, we just used to always tell him off and then give him a treat when he got off of them

I think it’s a sign that she just thinks with her stomach and everything else be damned. We’ve tried everything, from swats on the butt to a water gun every time we catch her up on the stove. No go, she still does it. After the grill incident we thought she really had learned, since she burned her paws pretty bad. She quit for a bit, just long enough for her paws to heal and then she was back at it. -_-

Poor kitteh! But you’re right, she doesn’t seem to care too much that she’s getting hurt here, cause she keeps doing it. That’s either a sign of stupidity or rebellion. She doesn’t even look that upset in the photo. I’d be crying if I had whiskers and burnt them.
