Check the Webhosting Blue Book First

When it comes to buying or selling a vehicle my family and I always make sure to check out the bluebook value of our vehicle and then form a battle plan before even going to the car lot. It’s just a smart thing to do, especially since it is 100% guaranteed that salesmen will take you for a ride if they can. ;) That said, it makes since to check the “bluebook” value of any product or service really.

After the recent downtime I just experianced (about an hour give or take) the WebhostingBlueBook.com is a great relief. WebhostingBlueBook.com features in-depth reviews on a plethora of webhosts. If you’re looking for hosting for a business or personal use you’ll find reviews for them on here. And believe me, after today I am seriously looking around.

For example, the 1and1 review paints a very flattering image of the hosting company and tempts me sorely to make a switch. It would actually be just a tad cheaper than my current host, although I would have to sacrifice some disc space. On the other hand, if I’m recalling my plan correctly, I stand to gain some bandwidth allotment. Decisions, decisions.

Either way, WebhostingBlueBook.net definately makes a good resource to check out before purchasing a hosting plan. :)

That’s a really good idea to have a resource like that.

I bought a package from 1and1.com, and I honestly love it. It’s got everything I need, for a very decent price. I’ve had my domains since October 07, and I haven’t had one minute of downtime!

I would also check out webhostingtalk.com for a forum with a lot of customer feedback. Webhosting Blue Book does look like a good resource too.
