		<description>I think that most of those mediums, by definition are reading but many people associate reading with intelligence and learning and there&#039;s where all the &quot;technical&quot; definitions come into place. IE comics and magazines aren&#039;t intellectual and thus are not seen as reading because of it.</description>

		<description>You said it &quot;reading is the action whereby we take in information by sight&quot; and I agree. I&#039;m not 100% sure on comics though, because photographs and images are not exactly reading, more like looking, but anyway.</description>
