Ha! This week’s Booking Through Thursday lets us step in and be the editor!

You know, there are so many books that I could use to fill in those blanks with. Especially the books I’ve reviewed and torn apart in the past. 
Now which book have I read recently that I was less than impressed with? Decisions, decisions.
Ah, here’s one: Diane Whiteside’s Bond of Blood would have been a much better book if the author had bothered to write her characters and the situations they found themselves in with even a shred of believability. I mean really, what woman (who isn’t psycho) is going to get turned on watching a guy rip a woman’s throat out? There were several instances in this book where the characters acted completely unrealistically and contrary to their own makeup which really detracted from the story itself.
There was some really great potential in this novel, but in the end it just fell flat. So much so that I won’t even bother reading the other books in the series.

I’ve been disappointed so many times with books that are part of a series that I’m reluctant to start new books if I know they are part of a series.
My BTT answer is also about a series, Harry Potter.

You know, I was going to do HP too. But, honestly, I figured others would choose that series as well. ^^; Heh, something told me others could probably say what I felt and more eloquently to boot.
