Another Job Applied For

Well, I’ve applied for yet another job in my field, here’s hoping this time around it’s different. Apparently the Hobbs, New Mexico police department is recruiting new police officers and…crime scene technicians. Their preference is for those with experiance, and the only experiance I have is a mock crime scene, but here’s hoping they might be interested.
In the off chance that I do get a call back I’ve already mapped out the route to Hobbs and all the exit signs I’d need to keep an eye out for. If I do get the job though, I’ll have to move. I can’t see myself making that commute daily. I’d be willing to relocate, no problem, it’s just that it will take a while since I don’t have anything saved right now. Ugh, we’re talking several possible months of making a, according to Google Maps, 6 hours and 35 minute commute for 313 miles.

That’s really far, yea no way you’re making that commute. Most companies help you with relocation pay if you have to move though. Of course everyone’s always looking for someone with experience, it’s pretty difficult to find a job advertising for people straight out of school without it. However, people are willing to train. Good luck hon, I hope it works out for you. I still think you should search for jobs in Texas and come be my neighbor! hah
