Am I Being Flipped Off?

That’s what I want to know. Did I just receive the kitty-version of the one-finger salute, the bird, the twirl? I honestly think I did. Perhaps I should back up a bit and explain first though.
I got up rather bright and early this morning, especially considering how late I went to bed last night. After I had eaten a hearty breakfast consisting of one Schwann’s Silver Mint ice cream bars and their individual cheese pizzas, while checking my email and visiting blogs, I decided to get my butt in gear. First I went and gathered up the dirty laundry so that I could my laundry later this evening, and while doing so, I decided I should strip my bed of its linens so that they could be laundered as well. Isis clearly had a different opinion.
I had just pulled back the comforter and placed it, along with the throw pillows and a loose blanket to one end of the bed while I dealt with the pillows, taking off the cases and placing the cases and pillows in separate baskets. I turned around to grab the comforter to place it on a chair since I didn’t think it needed to be washed, having just been placed on the bed a few days ago, so that I could pull up the blanket, top sheet, and fitted sheet, when my plans were abruptly curtailed by a new presence.

She yawned at me, then gave me one of her shrill and piercing mewls followed by a quick “squeak”. It’s for this reason Isis is lovingly called “squeak toy” from time to time. Her meows are definately high-pitched and “squeaky”. In any case I tried to cajole her into getting up by giving a gentle tug to the comforter. She just looked at me. I then said the magic word, kitchen. Now this word generally elicits a response, as they know it’s time to eat. Isis just blinked at me. I followed it up with the only other word that is music to her ears, chicken. Nothing. I then decided to threaten her and said the dreaded B-word - bath. Nothing still! I finally just gave up and boldly picked her up to deposit her on the ground.
Instead she wiggled free and settled right back down, only this time she slid a bit down from how she was originally laying and curled up for a nap, promptly ignoring me.

Now, after everything that has happened, look at that paw. Does it not look like she’s flipping me off? Her entire demeanor screams: Bugger Off!
I think I lost this round.

How funny. Yea, you were told to bug off and Isis won this match. How cute.
LOL, yeah, it looks like Isis was giving you the “bugger off” sign. My kitty likes to start licking his hind quarters as if to say “kiss it” to me. LOL
Charity,
Aren’t our kitties just sweet?
I swear, I am only appreciated around meal times by these two.
