My car has been acting a little funny lately, not to mention, it is in need of some serious repair. So it looks like when I pull my little disappearing act when the relatives come to visit I might end up having to rent a car.¹

Going the route of car rental might be a bit cheaper on me though. Not to mention I won’t have to put unnecessary mileage or wear and tear on my car either. Of course, then I’d probably do a little less roaming. If I decide to renta car, I’m definately using Advantage. Not only do they have some great deals and specials, amazingly enough, even on SUVs for the summer time fun, but when my mom had a serious car accident we used them as well. We’d never used Advantage before, but they came recommended.

Our insurance company had to keep the car in the shop longer than the planned week and a half for repairs because the agency of the guy who hit my mom were playing hard ball. As a result, my mom had to go and extend the rental period. Instead though, based on a friend’s recommendation, we decided to take our business to another company after her initial rental was finished. Boy were we glad we did. Heck of a lot cheaper, not to mention, much friendlier to boot. That nasty company that starts with E kept treating my mom like she was second-class because her insurance was covering the rental fee and she was just renting an economy car.

So yes, I might end up renting a car for my road trip, but I’ll still be blogging the whole way and posting some pics from the road and sights.
