So here I am online late at night and bored out of my mind. For some odd reason I’m in the mood to delve into a good story, well okay that in and of itself isn’t so odd,  the odd thing is that I don’t want to read a single book in my library. This must mean I’m in the mood to get into a good online tale.  An exciting and captivating fanfiction maybe or even the latest chapter to an ongoing original tale.

But there’s nothing good on to read!

None of my favorite authors have updated any of their works and I can’t seem to find anything to perk my interest either. I just gave up on Fanfiction.net a few minutes, talk about a waste of time. The series and genres I usually haunt seem to have been flooded recently by the teeny boppers. If I wanted to read something along the lines of: and w00t i’m lyke soo thinking of dating him, I totallys luvs him!! coming from the mouths of characters who have never and would never speak like that, well, you could lock me up in an asylum because I would have apparently lost it.

So there is nothing at FF.net, MediaMiner.org is, as always, dry as hell, and even InkStain doesn’t seem to have much either. While generally the quality of fiction at InkStain is of high quality it’s all slash. Hey, I like slash but what if I want to read something else? InkStain isn’t the place for that I’m afraid.

Because of the mounting anticipation for the next HP movie and the release of the last book in a month and some odd days I’m hungering for some good HP fanfiction but I’m lost as to where to find it. Help? Anybody know of any good HP fanfiction archives? Hell, just another general fanfiction site like ff.net would be great too.

Suggestions? Recommendations?
