Where Did Wednesday Go?

It’s amazing how fast today just sped away. I’ve been so busy going through my anime collection for episodes that I want to screencap to make new layouts for some of my fanlistings (and to expand the galleries in my and Vizard fanlisting/fansites), not to mention deleting old links in said sites and cleaning up coding, that the day just totally flew by.
I’m really wondering how this could have happened and I’m at a loss. But oh well, at least I got a lot accomplished.
I took a break earlier and drove up to Las Cruces and headed on over to Best Buy. Checked out their laptops, saw a Compaq there for $499.99, it was really tempting until I looked at the specs. 160 GB hard drive, that’s good. 1024 MB (read 1GB) RAM, that’s not so good. Especially since it comes with Windows Vista, which is notorious for sucking up a lot of ram. 
Their warranty was $249 for 3 years and then you figure in the upgrade I’m going to have to do straight away and it wasn’t such a deal after all.
At least I didn’t walk out empty handed though! I finally bought Kill Bill v2, picked up a couple of dvds for my grandfather (his Christmas gift pile keeps growning! 
) and picked up the uncut box sets 3 and 4 of Naruto as well.
I meant to go to Wal-Mart as well, but after sitting through a light twice I got fed up and switched lanes to get back on the freeway. The have the lights set up funny since the street I was on isn’t very busy late at night. Twice it came around to what should have been my turn, but instead only the protected arrows came on, and since I was going straight I was shit out of luck. Eventually I and the guy across the intersection got fed up and changed our plans. Sitting there for over five minutes watching everyone else go is not fun.

Wow that is quite sad about the ram. I wonder why someone would produce a computer with such little ram on a new operating system. I guess that’s why it’s cheap. Don’t worry though, it’s almost Thanksgiving which means more sales on the way! Remember, mine was bought on Black Friday a few years back, at compusa I think? Search online though you’ll find deals.
Don’t get the warranty. And the box (at least my hp did) probably comes with two 512 sticks in it so you HAVE to buy 2 1gb sticks.
By the time you buy the memory you could have bought a more powerful laptop….

Definitely not fun. I just hate those lights. Made me changed my plans too many a time.
My friend just got a new laptop with 2GB of memory, 160GB hard driver, for $598 at Wal-Mart. It’s a Compaq. LOL, maybe you should try Wal-Mart.
We have a stoplight here that does the same thing. Only the turning lane gets to go, but it’s only on one part of the intersection. I don’t know anyone who tries to go straight there after 9PM anymore. LOL
