What’s Your Favorite Scent?

Well you learn something new everyday you know. Did you know that at any given time there are at least 2,500 womens perfumes on the market? Granted I knew there was quite a selection to choose from but I hardly realized there were that many. Given the staggering amount of perfume out there how can one ever dream of picking one as the “top womens fragrance“? Strangely enough we do it everyday ladies, that favorite brand we have sitting on our dresser is our “top brand”. So what is the one fragrance you just can’t live without? My favorites are rather reflective of my frugal shopping choices as they’re all Avon brands.

I absolutely adore their Peach body sprays and only occasionally will I switch it up with their Vanilla or Black cherry. Yes, I’m a fruity kind of girl. But those are body sprays and hardly the same thing as perfume! When it comes to perfume I absolutely adore Avon’s Tomorrow. It’s so soft and airing but at the same time dreamy and lingering. I’ll use their Goddess and Haiku fragrances as well, but they’re just runners up.

So what brought on the perfume interest? Seeing Britney Spear’s brand being considering a “top brand” that’s what. Really now, how can you compare glass and diamonds? You can’t. And when you compare Spear’s perfume line to say Channel, well it’s like taking a piece of glass (Spear’s) and holding it up to the Hope diamond (Channel or even Opium) and saying ooh, they look so similar and are both so pretty. Why, we could switch them and no one would know the difference!

I’m with you on the body sprays. I keep two or three of them in my car. I get sweaty when I do inspections. I hate to greet customers smelling less than fresh. I spritz a little body spray onto my skin, hair and clothes as I pull up to each location. On my forearms and neck it helps me cool down, but mostly I use it to tone down the natural fragrance of working in the tropicl sun.
