From the creators/owners of the PaperBack Swap, Swap A DVD is now open and ready for the public to use. Got some used DVDs that’s you’d like to get rid of? Well all do! Those Christmas gifts we tried to watch but just couldn’t stand, maybe a single disc from a series you eventually got the boxset for, or just dvds you thought you would really love and ending up thinking were so-so.

All dvds in the system are of great quality, and believe me, the guys at PBS are good about keeping the riff-raff out so I have no doubt they’ll do the same here too.

To get started, head on over to SwapaDVD.com and sign up, then post those dvds you want to get rid of into the system. Once you post 10 you get a credit for a dvd so that you can begin requesting dvds to be sent to you. You can also choose to purchase credits in their store if you’re in a hurry to get started. DVDs cost you one credit each, and no, when you go to request a dvd you don’t have to have one that the other person will want. When a dvd is posted into the system it’s there and made available for everyone instead of being available to only people with popular movies like other sites do.
