So The G-Gods Are Smiting Bloggers Again

I thought it was just me whose PR had dropped, yet again, but no, it seems to be clear across the board and with no real pattern that I can discern. Sure, bloggers who are known to do reviews for money have been spanked again, but then again, so have blogs and websites that have no ads or paid links on them what so ever. Can we say ego trip?
So it seems to have come down to this, Google want’s to protect their Adsense and Adwords program and the only way to do that is to smite anyone who might be going to any other competitors. But in return for this tyranny they are getting hit where it matters the most - their wallets. That’s right, Google Stock is taking a plunge right now.
You can try to take them to court over this, it’s been tried numerous times, but Page Rank is protected by the first amendment and until you can find a really brilliant lawyer it’s going to stay that way. So here’s the best way to knock some sense into ‘em - sell your Google Stock.

Ooh lolcats has just given Google a swift kick in their ballses. But really, Google is so great at what they do and most of their programs are just awesome, why why why would they screw up like this? It’s like ooh we are good, let’s make people hate us just for good measure. *sigh*

Ai! The lolcats have spoken, and they are attacking teh google-gods.
It’s pretty simple though, they might be good in a wide range of departments, and because of this “authority” they feel they have the right to jerk everyone around. That’s all there is to it really.

I haven’t been able to visit your blog these last few days like I planned so I haven’t seen the change. I meant to visit, but while I’m using the old monitor everything shows up darker, and so your blog just looks really black right now for me. -_-; I want a new monitor asap.
My rank went down from a 4 to a 0. I don’t use any sort of advertising nor do I do the PPP blogging. Funny though, I’m having some of the best traffic to my site in years. Go figure.

Yeah, I’ve noticed quite a few who took hits like that and for no apparent reason. It really looks like Google is getting too big for their britches. Have you taken a look at their new and revised webmaster guidelines? They’re full of loopholes to smack the webowner.
Same here, my RSS feed (on this blog) is about ten times what it used to be. My daily trafficking is jumping and the comments I receive on my entries has also grown. It’s great! *knocks on wood* But of course, pr0 now. Very odd.
