Ugh! I barely woke up, less than half an hour ago, and I honestly thought I woke up early too. Judging by the light that was coming in through the curtains in my room I estimated it to be around 7am. And since I heard a door shut, I really believed my estimate was correct.

Lo and behold, I come sit down at the computer and it reads 11:28am. I was a little off, I’d say.

That door I heard closing? It wasn’t someone leaving for the day, it was my grandfather bringing in the mail from the post office.

I wondered how I could sleep in so late and how I could be so off in guessing the time, well, I wondered about it until I pulled back the curtains in the dinning room. It is completely overcast, and if I lived anywhere else I might say we were in for some snow, it’s windy, it’s cold, and it’s raining off and on. I just want to climb back into bed with a good book and snuggle in the warmness. Instead I have to get ready in a little bit and head to class in this mess. At least I have next week off, fall break, that’s what I’ll just keep telling myself anyhow.
