I can’t fathom the logic either. In high school they gave us just the leather folded diploma holders and then after the ceremony we went back stage and got the diploma. That made sense because things can get out of order or people not show up and it would suck to get someone else’s diploma and not your own.

But to mail it so late after? It’s almost like they want to jinx us by having the ceremony first before we know what the final outcome will be.

Thank you. I did enjoy the ceremony much more than I anticipated, it certainly drove home the fact that this was it, I had done it. That in and of itself is something to smile over.

Congrats on finding my name! My grandfather actually couldn’t find my name in the commencement book, but then he didn’t understand how it was set up either.

Thank you hun! Yeah, I was exceptionally pleased that we got to graduate wearing black. So much classier and dignified I think. When I graduated high school we wore maroon ones, which was lucky actually, since every year they rotate it. I could have ended up wearing the cheesy gold ones instead. x_X

That would be one of the many pics my mom goofed up on when she used my camera. Skirt shots are going to have to wait until we get the disposable one developed. =/ I seem to be the only one in my family that can work my camera.

Oh, and your cap and gown looks SO MUCH WAY BETTER and stylish than mine when I graduated. Black is slimming, LOL.
