New Akismet Plugin Broke My Blog

Has anybody else that has downloaded the new Akismet plugin, version 2.1.1, experianced any problems with it thus far? Every time I hit the delete button to trash all of the spam comments I am treated to this annoying white page with an error message stating:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/********/public_html/weblog/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php:283) in /home/********/public_html/weblog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 341
I didn’t have this problem with the old plugin dang it. If this is what I have to put up with in order to be able to browse the spam comments by category (trackback, comments) I’d rather do without that feature. =/
Anybody else experiencing this same problem or something similar? What did you do to fix it?

Just a guess, but it could be that the new plugin is for 2.3+ only?

Download the latest, 2.1.2, it should fix your problem.
That’s sucky. Maybe it’s a plugin that works with other versions of WP. I say if the previous version of the plugin worked, put it back heh.

It’s on the back end that the error will appear, and only after I delete spam comments.
I checked back and noticed they’ve updated now and that 2.1.2 should address these errors - that’s great! Except the download link is still providing me with version 2.1.1

Yeah, I’m lucky I haven’t deleted SB yet so I took the old version and put it back.
I haven’t tried to upgrade it yet. Then again, I didn’t know there was an upgrade. *sigh* I had a plugin breaking my blog completely so I finally got it fixed so my site is actually viewable again! LOL
Well, I wouldn’t worry too much about that error. It’s basically saying that it’s already loaded your header and footer and it was prompted to do it again, so somewhere in the Akismet coding is a typo or something, but I’m sure it won’t affect Akismet’s overall efficiency.
