The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Jets, 34 to 3. Oh booyah baby! My Cowboys are now 10 and 1, it’s been a while since they’ve had this good of a season. Next week they’re up against the Packers and it’s going to be a battle between the top two teams of the division. Oh yeah, it’s gonna be good.

I’m grateful for the rude bitches at Comp USA who made a list for their friends and family so when the line ended up being moved they were able to whine to the manager until he decided that the list would be respected. Never mind that no one else in the line knew of it or signed on it.

I’m also grateful to the Store Manager at Comp USA who decided that the laptops in-stock would be given to the first ones on the list, and the vouchers to the next fifteen on the list, which effectively screwed everyone else over.

I am grateful to the these two people because after that disaster I went Office Depot and camped out in front of the store from 9pm to 6am. I was the first one in line, though just barely, and I because of this I am the proud new owner of a Toshiba laptop for $499 (after rebates). My laptop has more hard drive space the the one at Comp USA and is a better brand in my book. It’s got 2GB RAM and 160 GB hard drive. It’s got satellite and WiFi connections already, it’s the bomb. I also got extra port connects, a cooling pad (with more ports), and a mouse.

I am grateful for my mom, who thought I was crazy for camping out that early, but went home and brought blankets, a sleeping bag, food, books, jackets, sweaters, and hot drinks and camped out with me. And considering how fast and easy she gets cold, that’s saying a lot. Thank you mom!

I am also grateful for the two families that camped out with us and were next in line. It was cold, windy, and miserable weather, but these people were of good spirit and heart which made the evening a pleasure. They are proof that not all Black Friday shoppers are rude and inconsiderate. I am thankful that I got to meet them and spend a night in their company.

This holiday season I have much to be thankful for and I am.

I had a great Black Friday, I got what I wanted and at a great price, met some wonderful people, and had a [cold] blast. I hope everyone else had as great of an experiance as I did and had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.
