More Lovely Reads – Thank You Julie!

Well I got a little bit of a scare today. My grandfather walked in and handed me a package that had come to me from the P.O. box address. Since we’ve gotten the street address set up again I’ve pretty much been having everything shipped to the physical address, and everything I’m expecting should be shipped there. So I looked at the sending address, Seashellbooks.com. Never heard of it. Maybe it’s another author requesting a review, I thought. Except that I haven’t had an author contact me to request a review and they generally do that before sending the book(s).
I opened it up to find Christopher Golden’s Prowlers: Predator and Prey in the package but there was no invoice or anything. One part of me was wondering if someone had selected it off my Amazon wishlist, since I was pretty sure I had it on there but didn’t see it anywhere now. Another part of me wondered if I should start checking my credit card statements.
Before I began to really panic I decided to ask at my primary messageboard haunt to see if anyone had gifted me with a present lately.
Good thing too, because the book, it turns out, is from Julie!
So thank you very much Julie-cookie.

Awe that’s fun I love getting things! lol. I hope you like it. I’ve been wanting to find a good book to read for awhile.
Sorry for the scare. I can’t believe they didn’t include an invoice. That’s going in their feedback! And you’re welcome luv
It just disappears off your wishlist but if you filter for purchased it shows up.
Karyn,
Here lately I’ve been having trouble finishing books for some odd reason.
I think it’s because I’m eager to read a certain book that is on it’s way still (just released).
Mm, getting things in the mail that are not bills or junk mail is always a good thing in my book!
Julie,
No problem hun! I guess the seller figured that since it was a gift you didn’t want the invoice included at all. Oh well, it arrived and I’m gonna read it ASAP. *hugs* Thank you cookie!
Oooh! New books are always good!
To me they make the best gifts.
Books in the mail are always pleasant surprises! It is troublesome when the company doesn’t include invoices, though.
