Isis’ New Sweater

So last night I did a little gift shopping for my mom (as in buying another gift for her and some gifts for her for her co-workers) as well as a little housekeeping shopping. By sheer luck I stumbled into the pet aisle while attempting to find some place that was not jam packed with crazy shoppers and spied a real gem.
Isis has always been deeply affected by the cold, and come winter, she is known to find a warm spot, curl up, and refuse to budge, sometimes not even for food. Perhaps it comes from being the runt of her family and being weened too young, whatever the case, my kitty dons kitty handkerchiefs in an attempt to help keep her warm and prevent her from having to stay stationary all the time. I’ve tried to buy her kitty clothes before, but they’re usually these decorative things that provide her nothing but hassle and little to no warmth at all. The doggy sweaters and what not tend to be thicker and do the job correctly, the problem is that even the small sizes are generally way too big for her.
Last night however I noticed a single solitary knit sweater in extra-small and I had to snap it up for her. Okay granted, it’s not the prettiest of pet clothes, but it is warm and as soon as I put it on her she started purring. The sweater is, according to the label, supposed to be for toy-dogs and cats, and let me tell you, it does the job just right. Isis has been running around a little more today and is just delighted and happy instead of her usual grumpy self. Well, she was happy until I woke her up from a nap to take pictures of her anyway. 
And yes, these pictures are courtesy of the brand spanking new digital camera my mother gave me as one of my graduation gifts.

Awww, your kitty is just adorable! Yay for being able to get her that little sweater. We used to dress my chihuahua in little sweaters during the winter months, but she’s really old now and won’t wear them anymore, lol. Yay for a new digicam too! It looks like it takes good piccies.

The digicam does take some beautiful pictures.
Isis is getting up there in age as well, she’s now twelve years old. When she was younger she disliked wearing anything, even her collar. But now she loves it, go figure.
Awww look at that happy pretty kitty. That is a really nice sweater though. She’s so fashionable!

Isis seems to love it as well. I took it off of her the other day so I could wash it since she got some canned cat food all over the front and she yowled at me when I was taking it off and purred like crazy when I put it back on her.
