Happy Thanksgiving! and Black Friday Preparations!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! 
I hope everyone is having a blast and is planning on stuffing themselves so full they can’t move. 
I know I am, and I certainly can’t wait for the game later today. Cowboys vs. Jets – it’s gonna be great! Let’s Go Cowboys!! My only complaint is that it’s freezing today, it’s also windy and raining. brrr!!
My mom stood in line to grab the local newspapers and I have been pouring religiously over the ads. I found some great deals:
- BestBuy, they had the best really. A Gateway laptop with 2048MB (see 2GB) of RAM and 250GB for $629.99.
- Office Depot, Toshiba (in store price $699.99) after rebates $499.99 with 2GB RAM and 160GB hard drive.
However, there is a three hour sale tonight at Comp USA and they have an HP with 2GB RAM and 120GM hard drive for $499.99.
So tonight we’re heading to Comp USA early and seeing if we can’t position ourselves right next to the laptop to ward off any others that might by it. 
Hopefully not too many people will be out shopping tonight and will be waiting for tomorrow. I really want a laptop and even if the Comp USA has less hard drive space, I can’t beat that price. It’s an instant, in-store savings of $300. And since there are little things I’m going to need to buy for my laptop anyway (workstation, cooling pad, ect) that will give me the best savings. But we’ll see. It depends on Lady Luck tonight!
Still though, gotta check for the online deals today. 
So far I’ve spied quite a few online stores with great sales, although the advertisements for cutlery, like ginsu knives, are cracking me up. Ooh, and the mp3 players. 
Such awesome prices!
Regardless of whether I get my laptop or not, we’re still braving the Black Friday craze tomorrow. As you know, our monitor went kaput, so we’re getting a new one and there is an awesome sale at Staples. Plus, Best Buy has some great sales on external devices like hard drives, thumb drives, and cd/dvd read/write devices. So we’ll still be up bright and early for the sales.

Oh Em Gee. Snowing, wow. It was storming here last night, and it’s cold, not fun. I hope you and your family have a great feast and enjoy the day after shopping. Though I do find it sad but interesting how people speed through Thanksgiving to get to Black Friday and Christmas.

Hey, I’m watching the Cowboys and Jets game and it’s snowing in Dallas right now. Are you getting any of that snow?
Did you know, Kay-Bee Toys has a sale on games. Buy one get one free on all Nintendo DS and GBA games. Starting at $9.98. So gotta run over there after we get the other stuff.

Ah, no need to be jealous. It might have snowed, but it didn’t stick. At least not where I live. 20 miles or so North of here might have gotten real lucky though.
Thank you hun, I hope I can get one too. Truth be told, if I don’t get it tonight, I will definately get one tomorrow. Office Depot has four @GB for under $800. So the chances of me not getting one tomorrow are pretty slim if I don’t luck out tonight.
Even then, I’ll still go home and get online and buy one that way. I’m getting me a laptop come hell or high water!

We had a nice small meal, just me and the boys. It was delicious!
I plan on trying to get the boys a new desktop tomorrow morning at circuit city.
They have a 250gb Acer for just $229! Mine was $450, and there’s actually will have way more functions.
I hope I can get one.

Thank, you and Happy Thanksgiving to you too! =) We had a small gathering here as well. Just my grandfather, my mom and me. And then my mom ran and hid while the two of us started cheering and yelling at the tv (Cowboy game).
I saw that deal! My mother has been contemplating getting a second desktop and networking the two and that one is sorely tempting here. But we’ll see. I really wanna get the Comp USA laptop tonight, if I don’t, then I’m braving the crowds and fighting at Office Depot tomorrow. They have four laptops on sale in my range that meet my requirements. Best odds at that store for me.

Huh, Dallas got snow, that’s kinda cool I suppose. Nope we actually had sunshine today, but cold temperatures. I hope you get your lappy tomorrow!
*sigh* Another Black Firday and me with no money. :)LOL, I won’t get paid until Monday when all the good sales are gone. Oh well.
