I just got around to visiting Ani-Haven and then Anime-Sensei so that I could download and watch the next episode of Naruto Shippuuden but it was nowhere to be found. I wasn’t too discouraged though, the aforementioned sites are general anime sites so it’s not unheard of that by the time they’ve updated several other series in a day they don’t get to some of the others. So I moseyed on over to Naruto Central only to see this update on the front page:

There will not be an episode this week. Sorry to let you guys down again! There will be an episode next week and the week after that…

There is also no new manga out this week either. I’m going into Naruto-withdrawal. If you could see me sitting here typing you’d be shocked to see me twitching and shaking like a junkie missing their fix. I’m tweaking here! And it’s not just because there is no new episode of Naruto Shippuuden either. On the last episode Sai was introduced. Just the quick little snippet where Danzou tells him he is going to be assigned to Team Kakashi and for this mission his name will be “Sai”. And then of course Sai does his fake smile thing. *melts* I love Sai and have looking forward to seeing him in the anime since his first appearance in chapter 281 of the manga. I can’t wait until he fights Naruto, Shikamaru, and Chouji. Ooh, and then when he calls Ino “Miss Beautiful” so she won’t hit him like Sakura does whenever he tries to give someone a nickname that is reflective of the person. Then of course there is his obsession with Naruto’s penis. Can’t forget that! I’m such a fangirl, as is evidenced by the fact that I run the Sai and Naruto fanlisting.

I love the new opening (it features Sai!) but the new closing is to die for, it’s all about Sai.

Could anyone take some screencaps of Sai from the closing and his appearance in the anime for me please? I’ve been trying, but Real Player is a pain with me. I can screencap media in .mp4 format just fine, but not .rm or .rmvb.
