Claymore 26: Towards the Successors

Episode 26 of Claymore, entitled Towards the Successors, aired today and is available to download and watch on many sites. It’s up on MySpace and I have embedded it here in this post for you all to watch. Go ahead, watch it. I’ll still be here when you’re finished. 
And this way you don’t have any spoilers either. After all, who wants to be told how the series comes to an end right?

Finished watching then? Excellent!Wow, hard to believe that this is the last episode of the series isn’t it? There has been no official word yet as to whether or not there will be another series, although there has been a great deal of speculation on it. The episode ended on a very open note so I think it is highly probable that there will in fact be another season. But who knows right?
As for the episode itself. I’m a bit disapointed that Clare did not kill Priscilla, as I figure that is going to lead to a whole mess of trouble in the future. However, she did defeat her though and I think that was what was important. Clare defeated her past and even though she lost Jeane, someone who was very close to her, she was able to move forward.
I’m also pleased that Helen, Deneve, and Miria are not going back to the organization. I loved the fact that even Clare’s “handler” wanted Clare to be safe and deigned not to go and further investigate in order to give her a chance on escaping the organization.
All in all I was pretty happy with the ending. I wish it wasn’t the end though and that there were more episodes coming up. So I am definately keeping my fingers crossed for a second season. What about you all, what did you think of the ending?

I loved this series, and I’m truly hoping a second season comes along. I love the manga, but watching the fights is something on its own level. Because of the plot deviation, if a second season comes, it’s likely it will be separate from the manga, and should probably be considered an alternate universe [as most people were upset that the two did not remain synced]. But I still love this series and I’ve downloaded the myspace uploads until it comes out on DVD. ^^

I’ve downloaded all of the episodes as well, thought not off of myspace.
I have them all saved until this series eventually comes to dvd. I absolutely loved it.
Now see, I never found a place to download the manga from so I’m afraid I only watched the anime and have no idea where the plot deviated. Where did you download your manga from?
Actually, I’ve never downloaded the manga version. It’s serialized on Shonen Jump (the monthly version) and since I can only get those from my friends, I end up waiting until it’s translated and bound, which I buy in Barnes and Noble.

However, one of the manga groups I’m in also has the manga for download. You have to be part of the community, but it’s free and quick, and I’d recommend this if you don’t mind registering:
